Protect your Hair from the Pool this Summer

Ok, if wearing a swimming cap isn't an option, these are our top tips to pool-proofing your hair.

1.  Saturate your hair with clean water before diving in.  This will help stop the chlorine and pool water being absorbed by your hair.

2.  Braid your hair into a tight plait, it's less likely to get tangled and absorb so much water.

3.  Rinse your hair thoroughly with clean water immediately after a swim.

4.  Shampoo as soon as practical, preferably with Sulfate-Free Shampoo and always condition.

5.  Use a wide tooth comb or the Air Motion Brush.  The Air Motion brush is super gentle and helps reduce breakage, it won't slip out of your hand either when it's wet.

Damage control - if your hair's not looking as gorgeous as it should when you get back from your hols book in for our Summer Hair Therapy Package and get a Free Ultimate Hair Protector (worth £13.99).
